I spotted this traditional dessert BiKorMoi and immediate sit down and enjoy. It is taste so nice especial eat together with coconut milk/santan :) You can find this taste at Singapore :)

Ayer Itam/ Air Itam is my hometown we i was born. Talking about it.... the image in people mind will be a congested traffic places especially on the morning section. You can locate the best Asam Laksa in Penang and also the most Famous Chinese Temple around South East Asia. The best time to visual the happening of Ayer itam is no Sunny Day time. Not only the vehicle will stack in the jam.... but you will famous "Human Traffic jam". Today i will be going back to Singapore... in the morning going i having some personal time at this market for food hunting and shopping. It is still so happening and i really in love with this places :) See you again My hometown !!!

Today we was having our food hunting at this Reservoir Garden Hawker Arcade(阿逸布爹湖花园美食中心) or this places is famous to know as "Zhong Nan - older day this place had a local cinema call Zhong nan Cinema". There is an easy sign you can locate this place especially on evening whenever you pass by here from Ayer Itam Market, you will see a huge crowd sitting at your left hand side after the reservoir garden traffic light. You can find all kind of Penang street food gather at this area. It is a great place to stop by after the visitation to Penang Hill. The only problem here is car parking. You had to park furtehr down the road only can find space for your vehicle or you can park at the Shell Petrol station with car park fee :)

 Bee Wei Seafood Cafe is one of the most crowded cafe you can see at the dinner around Ayer Itam area. It is located direct opposite at one of the famous Indian Temple. There is a problem for looking for car parking actually. You can actually park it at road side right in front (you will having hard time to reverse your car out due to the busy traffic) or you can park yours car at behind housing area. The food taste here was kind of localise. You can see a lots of family member having their dinner at here. Price is kinda cheap compare with some other restaurant.

Today dear and me back to this Keat's Claypot Bak Kut Teh "吉砂煲肉骨茶" for our dinner again. Keat's Claypot Bak Kut Teh "吉砂煲肉骨茶" had became our all time favourite since we study in college time :) The Price here had make very little adjust since day one we came here (From RM 15.40 - RM 17.60 for two pax bak kut tea, one salty taufu & one beverage). The MUST Try dish here is their salty taufu.... Well as receommended in previous blog. You had to came here after 9pm only can taste the nice herbal from the soup. Else you will feel the taste is very plain.

Penang Ayer Itam - Overall journey for 3 day 2 night Singapore tour

1632KM is the conclusion of our 3 day 2 night tour toward Singapore from Penang Island. This is one of the further distance we drive so far in 3 day 2 night. All this distance is discount we travelling by foot :) Well hopefully everything is running smoothly dear and me left exactly 2 month in Penang Island. We will tour the Penang Island as must as we can before we leaving :)

Today we came back to our regular place to enjoy the typical Bak Kut Teh. After so many visit we found out that we got to came here after 9pm only can taste the heavy taste of the soup. If you came before that the soup that being served here is pretty tasteless (We guess due to the pig bone soup had yet to be ready). The dish that we always order here is their salty taufu it is MUST TRY dish you do not want to missed.

It is a very old coffee shop where dear and me hardly will visit nowadays. Well out of random we just drop by to this cafe for some dinner hop up. Obviously there is not much of food you can had here as there is very little stall is open at this hour. we had randomly order a ordinary Char hor Fun and Ikan Bakar for our dinner. Overall there is no much of choice you can had here beside there is a place for you to chit chat under the tree.

Penang Ayer Itam - Curry Mee Stall (Afternoon)

There is only one Curry Mee stall doing their operation on the noon time. It is located right in front the wet market Food Court. This curry mee stay gain his name for the speed of services and the Curry paste here was kind of spicy comparing with other curry you can had around Ayer Itam Area. You had to self services sometime if you want the food sent to you fast :)

Today dear and me plan to revisit back this KFC Green lane outlets where usually that crowded on dinner time. Yes as expected the restaurant was kinda crowded and we hardly get car parking here. the cashier here was kinda slow a quick check my order was responded more then 3 minute. 

Seriously feel that the cashier here need more mind set training as i wanna get small change like 20 sen & 10 sen in my beg... i paying RM 25.55 and my cost of food was RM 21.75 . The Cashier stunt and look and me as she claim i not paying the RM 0.75 exact amount and return me the 50 sen LoL. Even i explain she responded "Sir, I Kerja sebagai casheir i Tau lah macam mana nak kira LoL". Sad when seeing those people resist to stand at different angle to look at the situation.

Penang Ayer Itam - Mahindrarama Buddhist Temple (Theravada)

Today we was follow family to this Mahindrarama Buddhist Temple (Theravada) for some annual prayer. Well it was so crowded here on this weekend. It is hardly get car parking here. This prayer is something like annual food bank food raising. You can make any donation based your own capability... saw alots family donated raw food and they call this as "bu si" in mandarin.
