Kedah Alor Setar - Gunung Keriang

We are having our random tour around Gunung Keriang area. You can visit three tourist spot around this Keriang hill..... it is paddy museum, science center & keriang garden. It is a great places to go if you had one whole morning or afternoon. Came here around April or September you can enjoy the greener paddy field here :)

Kedah Alor Setar - Keriang Hill Garden

Keriang Hill garden had undergone a major renovation. I think the local state government had invest a lots at this places and hope to make this places became popular. Currently entry fee is need and if you wanna to photographs will need to pay for extra. This round most of us just stand outside the gate to take a few photographs and we leave after that. The Keriang Hill garden had furnish with the Malays Cultural house and some other landscaping. Hope it really work to bring this places back in popular again.

Kedah Gunung Keriang - Paddy Museum

Since most of us had no interest to visit this paddy museum we just stop by and took few photo with the paddy museum and walk over to the science center. It is a sunny day therefore we can had a very clear view really the Gunung keriang and the paddy field around us. But too bad the paddy field had already harvest and left the brown color dry over plant. We will be back for the greener field :)

Kedah Gunung Kerian - Taman Rekreasi Gunung Keriang

Not far from the science center you will notice another attraction point it is Taman Rekreasi Gunung Keriang. It is an entertainment garden for the local do have their exercise and escape from their busy life. This Gunung Kerian is about 217 meter height...... and there is a lots of tourist visited this area.
