Penang Teluk Bahang - Pantai Keracut Trip

Pantai Keracut located at the places of no where which situated inside the jungle on Penang Island. To be exact the location of Pantai Keracuk is located on the North side of the Island. Well you only reachable this places by hiking or by boat at the north part of Penang Island. It is the great places for hiking. To access this place you need to hike from Teluk Bahang forest reserves entrance and probably will need to spend 2 hour (2300 meter) to reach the beach. 

Dear and I decided to give a challenge on this trek. ^^ Right before you begin your journey registration is needed at the forest reserve department right at the entrance this is for the precaution in cases you never return the authorise know where to rescue you.

You will be duelings with this type of road for at least 2 Hour 

(at the indicator stated 2300 meter but seen like 23000 meter for us haha)

Pantai Keracut might be a great place for camping at the night time.

Penang Georgetown - Thaipusam Event in Penang

Penang Island is always famous in celebrating Thaipusam festival event. On the particular night eve of Thaipusam,  you will see all the races is getting their self on the street to celebrate the event together. Most of the street in Georgetown will high in traffic as you can see the dry coconut at the spot where the parade will passing through. Those dry coconut is for worshiping the godess on the parade ceremony. 

Each year, dear and me will participate in red Crescent public duty on the Thaipusam parade event but beside this year as we would like to join the party for the 20KM Parade all the way from Georgetown to Penang Botanical garden or some call Penang WaterFall. Check the photo below before the parade start :)

Parade will be passing through here therefore you see this happen along Dato Kramat road.

Penang Georgetown - Dato Keramat Food Court

Dato Keramat is located before reaching the Georgetown cty. There is a roll of food court when you can find nice street food special on afternoon time. You will found a football field name " Brown Field" right beside the open air food court. There is two street food places you can found here where it is covering both side of this field. On the left hand, there is Chinese food stall whereas on the right hand is operate by others races. Both of this food court operating their business from afternoon to evening.

Dear and me particularly love to visit the chicken stall which serve lok-lok :) Beside the variety of food here there is not much of special you can found here.

Penang Gelugor - Tesco Penang Outlets

Tesco will be the right choices for groceries shopping as they offering variety of choices. This Tesco Penang Outlets had just operate their business few year back at the Gelugor area. Dear and me enjoying our shopping here as we could get almost everything we want for our DIY steamboat dinning stuff in one stop.

This purple colour corn is tasteless(Personally try this on Thailand tour) Main reason to bought this is for health purposes^^

Penang Georgetown - Obake-Ya Restaurant "The Jail Concept Restaurant" (监狱居酒屋)

Obake-Ya restaurant is one and only Jail Concept Restaurant located at Georgetown Penang. Obake-Ya -The Jail Concept Restaurant is mainly serving Japanese Cuisine. Well, the special thing in this restaurant is their interior design. It is dark & all the item is design base on the jail theme which include the way how they serve you the food. Tonight it is our first visit here, surprisingly on our visit this restaurant is kind of blank. Food taste is good especial the curry katsu don. It is a great places for candid photographs :)

Overall Obake-Ya The Jail Concept Restaurant was good in terms Jail Decoration but not for food quality.^^ If you love new concept of dining you should give a try on this restaurant.

Penang Ayer Itam - Penang Hill Suspension Bridge

Penang Hill is one of the tourist spot &historical places on Penang Island. Dear and me love to visit this place to grab some fresh air from nature environment. Thank to local authorises for maintaining the trekking road, therefore all of us can trek freely here. 45 minute walk from the upper hill station you will reach the famous Suspension Bridge. ^^ They claim this suspension bridge is the higher begin build in Malaysia.

A challenge had been taken by Dear and me see awesome will it been. Trust us the hilly here is marvelous. A MUST VISIT attraction at Penang Hill.  

Check out the Suspension bridge which connected from tree to tree.

(Cost RM 15.00 per adult is being charge)
