Perak Ipoh - Yoke Fook Moon Restaurant "玉福满点心楼"

Merry Christmas Folks. On 8am dear and me already reach Ipoh for our favourite food hunting. This morning we departing from Singapore around 3.30am in the morning... along the way the traffic is quite smooth. This is the very first time dear and me visiting Yoke Fook Moon Restaurant "玉福满点心楼". It is very crowded.... after 15 minute we only manage found the sharing space with other. You need to take the dim sum by yourself at the front counter. The dim sum variety here is came out by batch.... therefore you can slowly enjoy your food when you waiting your favourite dish to came out from the kitchen. Overall dear and me very satiety with the food here. Especially the Char Siew Pow :) Dear and me will be back here again on our next try when we passing by Ipoh again :) But we will be back he on normal weekend as today really super pack. We had bad experience when we queue up for paying money it took us about 10 minute in the crowded queue.

Perak Ipoh - Dessert Street "Tong Sui Kai "糖水街 " 15 Dessert Stall (15糖水汤)

There is and hidden gem where you can added in your food hunting list whenever you visiting Ipoh City. The Dessert Street or to be known as "Tong Sui Kai "糖水街 " by the local. You can enjoy all kind of fruit dessert at this street. Today we just drop by at this No. 15 stall... to test up their dessert. Overall it taste kinda great.... Dear and me had quote this street is one of the MUST VISIT street at Ipoh City.

Perak Ipoh - Downtown Nam Heong Cafe "南香茶餐室"

After buying the famous cempedak cake at the same roll of shoplot with Nam Heong Cafe. We continue our food hunting at Nam Heong Cafe. Probably this will be the last food hunting places we stop by for this trip as some of us need to rush back to penang for personal agenda. Well Dear and me had order one cold and one hot white coffee to try up. Both actually taste good but personally feel that Hot white coffee can feel the actual taste white coffee. Dear and me had quote this Nam Heong Cafe as MUST TRY coffee shop in Ipoh downtown.

Perak Ipoh - Hoong Tho Restaurant Famous Cempedak Cake "鴻圖酒樓"

At the same roll of Nam Heong cafe there is a famous Cempedak Cake begin sell here. The restaurant name Hoong Tho Restaurant "鴻圖酒樓" it is an convetional style restaurant located at this downtown area. Hoong Tho Restaurant "鴻圖酒樓" is not only famous with the Cempedak cake but they also selling teow chew style moon cake it will sell like hot cake especial on moon cake festival season. Today dear and me just order the take away cempadak cake to try and we feel it is kinda nice although we try it after few hour!!!

Before we leaving this area we drop by to Aun Kheng Lim Salted Chicken "宴瓊林鹽焗雞" for take away the food. Aun Kheng Lim Salted Chicken "宴瓊林鹽焗雞" is one of the famous Salty chicken you can found in Ipoh. My mum said the chicken had more "meat" compare with the stall i bought back at Lou Wong Chicken Bean Sprout area.

Funny Mountain Soya Bean "奇峰" is the third places we stop by for our food hunting and some of us already feel like give up :) Currently Funny Mountain Soya Bean "奇峰" already included with drive through service.... there car is queuing up to taste the famous dessert here. Now they also already expanding their business to the new shop lot right beside the provide places. The dessert here still taste so good :) Dear and me had already quote the dessert as MUST Try in Ipoh Town.

We had started our food hunting journey along the Ipoh Town. After having the great taste famous Hakka noodle. We continue our food hunting toward another famous chicken rice shop at Theatre road. Due to we do not want to let our feel full so fast we had order the chicken rice and share among 20 of us :) Indeed Nasi Ayam Pak Kong Restaurant "白宫鸡饭" taste quick good... but not as good as we expected.

Perak Ipoh - Hugh Low Street Paris Restaurant Hakka Mee "巴黎茶室客家面"

It is another great morning at Ipoh again. Most of us already few bored on having Hong Kong Dim Sum at Ipoh Town. One of the friend who had grow up at Ipoh had suggested us to try up the famous Hakka Mee which located beside Gerbang Malam Ipoh. It Is kinda crowded on this hour as the local s having their breakfast here too. I had order a huge one to try up and found out the noodle here taste really good :) Dear and me had quoted this Hugh Low Street Paris Restaurant Hakka Mee "巴黎茶室客家面" as MUST Visit noodle shop at Ipoh Town.
