Perak Gopeng - Outing 5.0 at Gua Tempurung The Longer Route

It is the Outing 5.0 between Rotaract Club of Penang & Rotaract Club of Kelana Jaya. Both of our club is sister club actually. This year we would like to organise something more extreme compare with all the previous outing. (Outing 1.0 Cameron Highland round trip, Outing 2.0 Pulau Pangkor explore, Outing 3.0 Pulau Langkawi fellowship trip, Outing 4.0 Penang Ayer Itam Dam and now is Outing 5.0 we pick somewhere in the middle of Peninsular Malaysia Gua Tempurung & Ipoh Trip).

We challenge the longer route with display and publicity by the management is 3hour 30 minute. But when we entering to the cave the lead tell us it is at least 4 hour 30 minute route depending how fast we can go. Yes he is right we ended outside of the cave around 6pm and after calculate back it is about 5 hour 40 minute. In some part of the Cave we are actually thought that we already reach the destination where we can see sun light. but after 20 minute resting the leader ask us continue back enter back the cave that is only the 50% route. Suddenly all of us feel so bless to stay under the sunlight. As in the cave there is 60% we are in total dark, wet and cool cave :) Be prepare to came over here with good condition shoe as you really need those shoe to let you stable yourself on rocking area. Overall all of us is exhausted but yet our bonding had improve and became stronger :) Dear said she really experience the longer route before it is on 10 year back that time really use only 3 hour 30 minute and the path is more smooth with any rocky condition. Overall trip is great as we really achieve fellowship objective :)

Oh ya forgot to mention.... you can just skip the public toilet here. Water condition is dirty and toilet is dirty. Plus you need to paid addition if you wish to bath here !!!

(Day 1) Perak Ipoh - PLUS Gopeng Tol

After having a great breakfast at Ipoh Town.... dear and me continue our journey toward Kuala Lumpur. Due to we came in form the north of Ipoh.... our smart Tag begin double charge dear and me plan to stop the Ipoh south Tol to claim back our payment. The tol officer here was really not friend as i asking they where can i had the refund there officer point me to the opposite of the Highway PLUS Office. Whereas i need to big a Big U-turn from Gopeng tol to opposite road again to do the payment. Therefore i stop my car a safe places at the highway side and i get down to from the car and plan to use the overhead bridge go over the highway. But when i reach there there is another Malays ladies stop me... she claim that the overhead bridge is build for the worker only. I ask for permission to contact the officer so i can explain my need... but she said all on leave. Without any further information i begin block and i got to return to my car. No choice i plan to make an U-turn to opposite road.

When reaching the Gopeng Tol i saw there is an smaller size PLUS office here and plan to try my luck.... indeed my issue solve in 5 minute. Serious feel that flexibility attitude really need to apply on every angle of position on the job and i plan to launch the complain toward the machine on this issue.

Perak Kampar - One Day Tour

There is about 40 km from Ipoh city toward Kampar town... after the Kellie's Castle this is the next station.... we was having road over here today... the city is so busy with traffic... still the same nothing much development besides there is some new condominium start their business here.
