We conclude our Penang City tour by having our food hunting at Pulau Tikus Wet market. Where we can find a lots of variety street food here. Dear and me left exactly 7 day at Penang Island. Today we order to different Char Koay Teow stall to make the A to A comparison. We found out that the famous Char Koay Teow here taste better then his rival but there is not plate for you... they will sent the take away packaging to your table :) Anyway dear and me feel that Around Pulau Tikus Wet Market Food Court still a great place for street food if you do not mind their hygienic.

Today we are visited by our sister club from Manila Philippine. Actually they just had few hour down by at Penang Island. They purposely came over here for our sister club renewable. The first stop in Penang we bring they to New World Park Food Court. One of the the best places to try up Penang Street food. Due to the space here is kinda huge and we no need to worry about there is no space for us to sits. We do meet up with the Rotaractor from New Zealand who having their transit in at Penang before get over toward UK for their trip.

Burmah Road Shunka Japanese Restaurant (旬香) so far is the one of the best Japanese Restaurant we visited before. Not only the Interior design is kinda relax and full of Japanese atmosphere but the taste of the food and the culinary art that begin presented. The food quality of this restaurant is awesome especially the taste of the cheese egg row is MUST eat dish. The garlic rice is also one of the best you can find in the island (another one is at Kampung Jawa, Tajitsu Japanese retsaurant). After the third time visit dear and me still listed this Japanese restaurant is MUST VISIT at Georgetown area.

Penang Georgetown Rangoon Road - Chinese Medication Hebal Tea Stall "苦茶"

Since study in Uni... i had became the regular customer for this Chinese Medication Herbal Tea Stall "苦茶". Sometime it will became crowded surrounding this stall at the late evening. You can actually requested for "double shot = mean 2 bottle of chinese medicine powder" or "single shot = mean a single bottle of chinese medicine". Per glass of Chinese medication herbal tea is RM 2.20. This is for internal cooling for our body. You can ask for sweet "Mean the chrysanthemum herbal tea usual taste sweet" after the bitterness of the medication herbal tea (they will provide you quarter of the glass for FOC). It is a raining night, that why you cannot see crowd.

Penang Georgetown - Ah Mah's Steamboat “With Asam Laksa soup” (阿嫲火锅)

We was invited to try up the newly open Ah Mah's Steamboat (阿嫲火锅) located right opposite the Burmah road Heong Leong Bank (Walking distance to Komtar). for try up their newly inverted Asam Laksa soup base steamboat. The shop kinda empty when dear and me arrived..... We just follow their recommendation on ordering set meal for 2 and we add on the mutton meat for our meal. We get to know from the owner the actually have their family member selling Asam Laksa... this ideal is came from one of the youngster in their family. A group of they join together and open up this restaurant to share their innovation with others. 

From dear and me opinion the meat that came with set menu is kinda less compare with others steamboat restaurant we came find in Island. The had very limited car parking and you will be easy miss this shop if you not paying must attention.  No doubt the soup base is kind of special... dear and me had quote this restaurant as MUST VISIT Steamboat restaurant if you are steamboat lover like us :)

* You can request the "Her Kor"/prawn sauce paste from waitress to adding to yours Asam Laksa soup to make it more sweet (Too bad they only bring out to us when we going to finish our food)

At the evening we bringing our family to try up the NS Nasi Kandar 24 hours Cafe at Burmah Road. This NS Nasi Kandar 24 hours Cafe is my all time favourite back in my Uni time. I came here very offer after my submission of my assignment or after my late night studies. NS Nasi Kandar 24 hours Cafe selling off very great taste fried chicken. This round i found out they had make some price adjustment as i too back the routine variety of food the price different by RM 0.50. Overall the food here still so satisfy us :)

Penang Pulau Tikus - Sin Hup Aun Cafe Chef's Delights Western Food

As dear and me know this Sin Hup Aun Cafe Chef's Delights Western Food was only open at the lunch hours. But now at the evening you can see this stall start to operate and it is kinda crowded at dinner hour. We stop by this stall to pay a visit and have a try on their western food. Normally we will use Chicken Chop dish as our benchmark. Well we had order Pork & Chicken chop to have a try... both of this dish is totally similar from outlook. We can differentia it my the taste and the internal texture. Both dish taste averagely only..... dear and me does not get any surprise here. Per plate damage is RM 12.50.

After leaving the Penang International Airport..... dear and me plan to find something that can warm ourself. We try to visit the Crystal Point Sawara Steamboat & Claypot Fish Head Restaurant outlets but they did not doing their operation today. Therefore we drive all the way toward another outlets at Pulau Tikus... when on the phone the lady boss said sure wait from us :) By 9.00pm at the evening finally we had reach the Sawara Steamboat & Claypot Fish Head Restaurant at Pulau Tikus branches. We had pre order the food through phone and the lady boss had ready all the food for us :) Thank you again lady boss :) We leave the shop around 10:15pm. Dear and me had quoted this restaurant as MUST TRY since 2013 ;)
