Singapora Chinatown MRT - Chinatown Maxwell Food Centre

Today it is the day bring dear brother to tour around Singapore. Our first stop is at Maxwell Food Centre. Tian Tian Chicken Rice is our target but we queue up nearly 40 minute only get to order the food. The sit here is almost food but after few round of scout we still manage to get a place for three people which sharing with a Malaysian KL People. He is friendly and nice.... i had more then 30 minute conversation with him. Overall dear and me feel that the Tian Tian Chicken rice was not as good as first visit.... no sure it is too many customer and the quality drop or we order half chicken. Overall damage is just $16 :)

After the long queue at Lim Chee Guan Bak Kwa stall. Dear and me decided to had our supper at Maxwell food court right before we going back our home. Tasty Barbecue Stall "夜来香" had became our main target as we tasted back in last year june it is kinda nice :) I think tonight we are the last two customer who visited they. No need to queue up anymore as the boss said he can deliver to us :) The Tasty Barbecue Stall "夜来香" pork Chop & Chicken cutlet set still taste so good. Dear and me had quote this Tasty Barbecue Stall "夜来香" as MUST TRY food in Maxwell food court :)

Queue up infront the Bak Kwa stall for 20 to 30 minute had became one of the local tradition in singapore. Today dear and me also following the crowd came over the Lim Chee Guan Bak Kwa Stall for purchase some back to Penang. Actually need to thank to this queue therefore we can slowly observe our surrounding how the local preparing for their chinese new year. Well we do had time to slowly glamp through the bak kwa menu that begin offer. Until now we only knew that Lee Chee Guan Bak Kwa Stall do offer all kind of bak kwa such as the typical one Pork slide, Pork bacon, Chicken slide and the special one was the seafood bak kwa such as the prawn and fish :) Obviously there is a slightly 2 or 3dollar hike up on their normal day price :)  Dear and me still feel that the Lim Chee Guan Bak Kwa stall still the MUST TRY in Singapore.

Chinese New Year is around the corner.... dear and me purposely came over Chinatown area to had the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year Festival. It is super packs today as a lots of people is having their last shopping before chinese new year. There is a lots of food tasting counter here. Where you can actually enjoying along the way if you wanna to had a window shopping. There is a lots of chinese new year festival decoration begin presented here too :) Dear and me feel that it is MUST VISIT to chinatown area before chinese new year festival arrive :)

Our main objective to over Chinatown Singapore is make the purchase of Around Bee Cheng Hiang "美珍香". As this is the only brand where dear and me had not try before.  When we walking in the outlets we do saw that Bee Cheng Hiang Outlets "美珍香" is doing their promotion for the pork slide for 500g , 600g & 1Kg. The maximum discount you getting here is 25%. Dear and me just purchase 600g and there is a very nice Merry Christmas paper beg begin given to us. Till now we had not yet try the bak kwa. One we try we will write up the review :)

After having our dinner at the Wara wara Restaurant. Dear and me having our dating at Chinatown again. This round we are enjoying the night view here. Where some of the shop is is kinda crowded. As dear and me said here is the best places where you can make your souvenir purchase.

It is korean cuisine night for dear and me. We spotted there is a korean restaurant which located at Temple Street Singapore having the kinda similar stove like Ssamba Korean restaurant at Penang. It is kind of blank when dear and me visiting this Wara Wara Korean Restaurant. The korean lady speak to us only using Korean where we manage to catch her meaning when she mention english like "Spicyzzzz, or chinesszzy" LoL. We can observed most of the customer came over here had suddenly lost direction when we start to introduce her food menu. It is exactly happened to us when we visited Busan korean last year. Overall the side dish here is kinda limited and there is no refill service begin see.  The food taste is above average and there is better choices you can have. There is an 10% discount voucher begin given out... where those voucher is given to us after we make the payment.

Today dear and me plan revisit the Chicken Rice stall at Maxwell food court. Well it already close when dear and me arrived here. We get down from Tanjong Pagar MRt station and exit at F.. walk straight for 400 meter to reach here. There is one of famous fried banana stall that i always not get to eat.... i believe this stall only open on morning session. Dear and me will came here some others day to have the revisit again.

After the first try on Lim Chee Guan Bak Kwa dear and me became addicted with it. Today we drop by the Chinatown Lim Chee Guan Bak Kwa Stall "林志源" again to purchase another type of bak kwa. Today we bought the round shape one and by back our home to try up :) Today it is less crowded compare with previous time we visit. At Chinatown there is two Lim Chee Guan Bak Kwa Stall "林志源". Both of they standing right opposite each others.
