Malacca Malacca City - Ban Lee Siang Satay Celup "马六甲正宗万里香沙爹朱律"

If you ask me what is the food that cannot miss in Malacca city? Definely Satay Celup !. There is two shop dear and me shortlisted. Ban Lee Siang "马六甲正宗万里香沙爹朱律" definitely one of they. You will be surprise when you saw there is two side by side Ban Lee Siang, but we choose to enter the blue signboard today as one of our friend said this is originated.

How to order the food? It is pretty easy. Just tell the cashier or waitress how many folks would like to enjoy the satay celup. They will try their best to arrange the best size to fit in (We come in group of 8 people, they arrange for join table). Then you can just go to their fridge to get the food and start to dip in the satay sauce hotpot right in middle the table. For payment just wave hand with the cashier, they will come the left over stick after consume. The price is different by the color at the end of the stick. Overall dear and me feel that Ban Lee Siang taste is on par with satay celup Capitol, queue and waiting time for is way shorter.

Congratulation to you Li Yan & Husband on your Wedding reception thanks for having us at this special occasion. We had enjoyable night and this is also our Malacca trip finale with our good friend. Talking back the food taste of Restaurant New Lagoon Shd.Bhd "海港城酒家马六甲", Overall food experience was great as we are so enjoy the food even all of us had nice food in pass two. Jonker Street Satay House sit right opposite Famosa Chicken Rice ball "古城鸡饭粒". We was actually attract by their satay aroma while waiting for sit at Famosa Chicken Rice ball "古城鸡饭粒". Guess their Aroma is their key to attract you in. After all their satay taste is quick bland. We guess this shop is partner whith Famosa Chicken Rice ball "古城鸡饭粒" as you check up the photo below you will Famosa Chicken Rice ball "古城鸡饭粒" was in use at this shop :) We would actually recommend

you to keep your stomach space for other food then visit this shop. Else if you like us, want to clear all Jonker street food regardless on their taste. Then please go visit this shop :D

This is very first time we try up Jonker Street Famosa Chicken Rice ball "古城鸡饭粒" after we had try up Hoe Kee & Chung Hwa during the first self visit to Malacca, second trip with friend trying up at Heng Hainan & Family soya Bean. Famosa Chicken Rice ball "古城鸡饭粒" is located right at the heart of Jonker Street, where tourist can easily spot their appearance as they paint all in Red. Nothing much special here as beside you see the red building + you can add on some pork dish. Food taste wise is moderate if compare with Hoe Kee. If you are as crazy as us and want to visit all restaurant at Jonker street then please do so. Else for first time visit to Jonker Street you will still got plenty of choice.

Today dear and me would like to introduce you a hidden gem in Malacca. It is 486 Warong Baba Low where we was bring over by our local friend. This places was so famous among the local where you barely seeing tourist here. Dear and me was so surprise on their Mee Siam as it taste so tasty. If you looking a place eat like local then 486 Warong Baba Low i think you will no want to miss :)

Malacca Malacca City - Jonker Street Koong Woh Tong "恭和堂正宗藥製龜苓膏"

After the long walk around Jonker street, We took a break at Koong Woh Tong "恭和堂正宗藥製龜苓膏". Koong Woh Tong "恭和堂正宗藥製龜苓膏" had own their name since they open the first branch in Malaysia Market. Previously you will to queue only can get to taste their Herd Jelly. Currently the price for a small herb jelly is RM10 big one will be RM13. You will need to add honey on the Herb jelly before you consume but some folks like to challenge this without honey please go a head :)

Overall we would like to comment more on their employee at this outlet. We feel that they will need to go for training on their communication skill. Perhaps they had already work for a day may be they are tired on their duty here. We feel that their attitude need to be improve. Remember no second question when you do ordering, this outlets waitress having very less patience on their customer.

Highlight on weekend in Malacca City will be Jonker Street Night Market “马六甲雞場街文化訪”. You can only visit this night market from Friday to Sunday only. Day time those car can be passing by. As usual Jonker Street Night Market “马六甲雞場街文化訪” is full of crowd. You able to shop from food till antique until you drop. At the starting point of Jonker Street Night Market “马六甲雞場街文化訪” there will be a culture singing show by senior local.

This round dear and me found that this Jonker Street Night Market “马六甲雞場街文化訪” have because more to food street. As 80% of stall here is selling all kind of fusion food. Alright let the night roll enjoying our food hunting first.

Malacca Malacca City - Aunty Fatso Restaurant "夜来香海鲜家 (肥嫂)"

Makan time again. For dinner we was visiting Aunty Fatso Restaurant "夜来香海鲜家 (肥嫂)". Well to come over here from Mahkota Parade Mall by car is only 20 minute journey. But due to high traffic at Mahkota parade Mall just down we not was struggle to get Grabs driver. Hence, we come over here with the taxi cost of RM20.

As usual Aunty Fatso Restaurant "夜来香海鲜家 (肥嫂)" you will need to make reservation (The number can be find at below) before you arrived. You will surprise the crowd who willing to wait for their turn to had dinner here can up to 10 table (waiting time can reach 90 min). This restaurant was highly recommended by local friend who said their crab dish is one of the food you do not want to miss in Malacca. Overall food experience is quick good. Remember to put this restaurant in your next visit list whenever you got chance to visit Malacca.

Hello to the largest mall in Malacca City Mahkota Parade Mall. It is just 15 minute walk from A Famosa. Actually if you know REITS well Mahkota Parade Mall is under Hektar REIT's profile. Normally when tourist visit to this mall only one reason. It is for the Nadeja Cake house and also their car parking was large enough to cather large crowd to visit. We was here is because one of our friend plan to get a self a night dress for tomorrow night dinner.
