Johor Yong Peng - Lucky Garden Express Bus Rest & Recuperation Station

After 3 hour cross the border and on the road finally our bus at stop at Lucky Garden Express Bus Rest & Recuperation Station. Lucky Garden Express Bus Rest & Recuperation Station is an typical type of RnR stop like what you had in Plus Highway, what i mean was the pricing of food is higher and food taste is bland. Guess next time dear and me will be only enjoy their beverage will do LOL. But i dont think the passenger was care about the food taste, Check back below photo you will understand i said :D

Johor Yong Peng - Yong Peng Town

We continue our random walk around this Yong Peng town before wait for our business partner to fetch us over to Batu Pahat :) There is a lots of shop still not yet in operation.... but the only Maybank branches here had full of penang queuing up. Nothing special here beside the simple and peaceful town. We only notice we was staying right behind the famous Or Hwu Restaurant which we visited for food hunting few year back.

Johor Yong Peng - Pasar Raya Nirwana Maju

After our breakfast dear and me having our random walk around this area. Right opposite the MH Hotel there is an Supermarket selling the thing in whole sale price. It is call Pasar Raya Nirwana Maju..... This is a very small supermarket i think only the local will visit :) We do a quick check on their groceries price some eventually lower than Tesco :) Well dear and me was pretty like this places as this places give the retro feeling like we when back to our childhood like that :)

Johor Yong Peng - MH Hotel

Today dear and me having out very short business trip around Yong Peng & Batu Pahat. We choice to stay at the most new Hotel right behind the Taman Jelita. It is the walking distance to the main road of Yong Peng. This is a very small and compact hotel.... we really can't imagine this small hotel provided complimentary breakfast :) There is a coffee machine where serve very good white coffee and teh tarik. Beside the machines there is few pack of Nasi Lemak and fried bee hoon is the breakfast that provided to their customer surprisingly the Nasi Lemak taste so good :) Room rate per night here is RM 128 only :) Dear and me had quote this Hotel is MUST Stay at Yong Peng Town :)

Johor Yong Peng - Express Bus Accident

Hopefully there is not much of no injury on the passenger & the driver on this accident. Dear and me feel that the Plus highway from Yong Peng to Pagoh this strake of road is dark area. Where after we swift over to Singapore whenever we passing by this area most of the time we will seeing accident happen. Just like toward when dear and me on our way back to Singapore we saw this Express bus was involve in the accident. Anyway you need to take extra care when using this strake of road. If you really unluckily involve in any of the road accident... do not worry i believe the other road user surely will stop their car and came and help you up at least we will. Take care!!!

Johor Yong Peng - Lucky Garden Express Bus Rest & Recuperation Station

As usual Grassland bus will stop at Lucky Garden Express Bus Rest & Recuperation Station for their passenger and driver to refresh before continue on the long distance. Today Lucky Garden Express Bus Rest & Recuperation Station is kind of crowded even now is midnight 1am but the crowded like on lunch or dinner time. Not sure who is the boss behind this R&R had the influence to attract most of the long hail bus driver over here.... whereas there is R&R also on PLUS highway.

Johor Yong Peng - Lucky Garden Express Bus Rest & Recuperation Station

After 2 hour journey the express bus had divert the direction toward this Lucky Garden Express Bus Rest & Recuperation Station at Yong Peng. Dear and me observe there is a lots of Long Haul Express bus had make an 20 minute stop here for their passenger to rest their self. This places is divert from PLUC Highway and i had no issue why most of the express bus had purposely make and exit to came over here. It is eatery outlets and souvenir outlets being spotted here. Dear and me feel that the food prices here is way higher compare with normal prices. Probably it is because they are doing extra hour in this Mid of the night :) If you not really hungry suggested not to had any food here else you are paying extra ordinary and getting a no special taste of food from here.

Johor Yong Peng - Or Hwu Restaurant "五湖餐馆"

This is the second stop for dear and me after the long hour driving from Penang. Yong Peng town is one of the most Chinese populated area in Johor State. Or Hwu Restaurant "五湖餐馆" is one of the famous Chinese restaurant that you can find at here. We decided to give a try on this Or Hwu Restaurant "五湖餐馆". From Yong Peng PLUS exit till the restaurant will take you 10 minute journey. It was surprise although with the name that already own by this restaurant but it is kinda blank when dear and me reach here.

The restaurant had display the newspaper that publicity about they. We order the red sauce chicken & the famous fuzhou fish ball soup :) . Overall dear and me feel that it was kinda great experience to try up special taste of food in this restaurant. We would recommend you to give a try if you happen at Yong Peng town.
