Singapore Nicholl Highway MRT - Golden Mile Complex Sri Maju

This is the very first time dear and me decided to take land transport travel from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. We had pre-advance purchase an express bus ticket from Sri Maju company. Cost per trip was cost us SG20 only. We had choose the bus schedule on 9am. This is the tips for you remember to go office at least 15 to 30 minute early therefore you will get inform which bus with plate number will fetch you to the destination.

Overall this journey took us 7 hours (Include an hour at Yong Peng R&R for early lunch), as there is minor road incident cause some traffic jam during our journey to Kuala Lumpur.

Singapore Nicoll Highway MRT - Golden Miles Complex Diandin Leluk Thai Restaurant

Tonight dear and me visiting the Diandin Leluk Thai Restaurant at Golden Mile Complex for our dinner. We was attracted by the crowd that visit this outlets. Although this restaurant have 3 different outlets which connected together all of they is full of customer. Dear and me based on the waitress recommendation order Crabmeat fries rice, Green curry fries rice & Pandan Chicken.

All of the food we oder had great it taste but somehow dear and me still feel that the is food taste just rest on the outlets layer only which we feel the taste is not in deep inside the rice. Anyway finding thaifood in Singapore was not as easy as Penang Island. So far Diandin Leluk Thai restaurant is one of the best we can find around Singapore.

Singapore Nicoll Highway MRT - Golden Mile Complex

Finally this is the end point for dear brother visitation in Singapore. He decide to travel back Penang by Express bus. Per trip is $42. It will take 9 to 12 hour depending the traffic and the driving speed of the driver. The Bus Company we recommended to him is Sri Maju :) Anyway all the best to you and take care. Singapore Nicoll Highway - Golden Miles Complex Grassland Bus Express

It is time to go back to our lovely house again in Penang Island. Dear and me plan to try up another bus company therefore we know that which bus company it the most comfortable. We had took Sri Maju bus Company services as the benchmark to rate over this bus company grassland. First we found out that the price per pax was $53. There is no blanket will be provided but you enjoy the massage chair. The journey hour is longer as we reach Penang around 9.30am in the morning later. Grassland had stop at a few R&R before reaching Penang Island compare to Sri Maju only stop at 2 R&R. Overall dear and me still prefer Sri Maju on our second experience on the long haul trip :)

Singapore Nicoll Highway - Golden Miles Complex

This is our very first experience travelling back Penang from Singapore by bus. Dear and me had purchase our bus ticket two week ago at Sri Maju Bus Express counter at Golden Miles Complex. The cost for per pax travelling back to Penang is $43. The journey expected is 12 hours :) Dear and me had reach the bus terminal 30 minute before the journey start. It had became at Standard of Process to exchange the bus ticket at the purchasing counter again... as they will only notify you the bus number when you do that :) Sri Maju had give us a great experience as we reach Penang 2 hour early then the schedule even they had make a big U-turn to Sungai Nibong Penang first only come out to the Butterworth Penang. We are begin provided a blanket and mineral water before the journey start. Most of the buses using the Tuas link to exit from Singapore.

Singapore Nicoll Highway MRT - Kallang River

From Golden Mile Complex to Nicoll Highway MRT station is 700meter. Dear and me had fixed this route for us to use in any future when we wanna go to Golden Mile Complex for long distance buses. Dear and me found out there is a peaceful place to visit just right opposite the the Nicoll highway MRt station. It is facing the Kallang river and this places is kinda windy. It look like lake more then a river. You will found a lots of foreigner having their gathering at this places especial on weekend.

Singapore Nicoll Highway MRT - Golden Mile Complex

After waited at Lavendar MRT bus station for 15 minute for bus 100. We arrived to exactly right in front the Golden Mile Complex. We observe there is more then 10 type of bus company brand we can found here. You can purchase the express bus ticket to Malaysia or even Thailand. Price as we survey is Malacca SGD 20 ~25, Kuala Lumpur is SGD 30~35 & Penang SGD 43 ~ 50. All this bus fare is depend on the date you interested (A huge surprise we had here was one way bus ticket to go Penang on Chinese New Year ticket can go up from SGD 140 to SGD 165).

After the survey... we random walk around this Golden Mile Complex.... we found out that this places look like little Thailand. where you can see a lots Thailand goods and Thai cuisine can be found here. There is some tourist agency is operating here too. You can book your trip from the local agency if you interested.
