Penang Bayan Lepas - Penang Bridge Marathon 2014

It is the Penang Bridge Marathon 2014 Day. Dear and me had plan to participant this 21KM marathon since a year ago. This was the first time ever the Marathon will be help on the Penang Second Bridge. The management had ready the Rapid shuttle bus pick up from variety point on Penang Island. Well We park ours Car at Queensbay mall and use the facility that ready by the management. It is about 1:30am morning we can see that number of people had arrived here but most of the participant park their vehicle outside the mall instead in the mall. (Most probably they wanna save up their money for others) For me as long they does not block the way will be fine. Dear and me observe that every 10 minute there is a rapid shuttle depart from the Queensbay Mall.... Every one of it was fully fill up with people :)

Along the ways we saw alots people start to walking to the starting point... some of they just simplify park their vehicle that will cause the traffic. Reaching the starting in 20 minute time.... we can see that the mobile toilet had start their queue here and the crowd start to build up here. All the booth had start they operation since 12am and you can enjoy the free photo shooting at few branded booth here. We do enjoy it :) Banana was the so common item distributed here. The man Open 21 KM will start from 2:30 am.... when i am one of the blue Singlet here. Overall time i use to complete was 02:23:27 which in the places of 1555/10654. Kinda certify with overall management here:) Overall running kits had major improve compare last year. Incoming Penang Bridge Marathon 2015 dear and me had decided to join back again to Challenge ours limit.

Penang Bayan Lepas - Batu Maung Penang Bridge Marathon 2014

It is the day for us to complete the 21KM half Marathon Mission. We reach Queensbay Mall as ear;y as 12:45am as this year the Penang State Government had provide free shuttle bus toward to Penang Second Bridge. This also the very first time Penang Marathon was help in Penang Second Bridge. This is also the reason why dear and me want to challenge the 21KM Half Marathon on this round to actually to make as personally remark on this event. There is every 10 minute there is a free Shuttle bus came over the Queensbay Mall toward Penang Second Bridge along the way we saw alots of people had start their journey by walking toward the destination. There is some irresponsible person just simply park there vehicle along the way toward the Penang Second bridge and causing Massive congested. There is alots booth already setup at the starting point... dear and friend had go around to talk some memorable picture at the booth there and there is free beverage and food begin distribute for free around the starting point. On 3am shape 21KM Half Marathon had begin.... along the way i try to capture some picture but all is blur lolx. The harder for Bridge Marathon is you do not had clear target to motivated yourself to keep going especially on this Penang Second Bridge. What i did it calculate 10 light poll as one target..... else time i finish 10 light poll running i will slow down for 2 poll. I ended the 21KM Half Marathon with 2hour 11minits.... it is faster then i expected. I think i can do better next round in somewhere else Marathon with alots of practise as this round dear and me just run for raw ahaha :) Anyway Both of us had complete the run and we leave this places by 7am... there is totally no stack in jam when we go back :) It is a great experience after all !!!
